The original logo design brief was for a yellow and grey colour scheme, applied to an angular, modern design.
Logos were provided as a style reference. Certo Design then exercise their creativeness before providing several variations based on these parameters. It was then a case of narrowing down to a single design, via customer interaction.
All feedback is important and we try to listen carefully and to take it all on board. As a result of the feedback we narrowed it down to just a couple of logo designs. During this process we experimented with negative space to subtly communicate the companies business – trading. And yes we have to admit that the FedEx logo was a key influence in adopting this design approach.
Once the final Avanti Trading logo design was complete it was then decided that other colour variations should be considered. A green and black combination was selected. We feel the darker black helps the green appear even more vibrant.

With a new logo design, it became essential to carry that branding through the rest of the business stationery, including Letterhead designs and the Compliment Slip design.
