The Anderson wedding is to take place in Crete. With this in mind, we settled on the idea of designing the invites in the style of an old plane ticket. Then to present it in a ticket sleeve.
First of all, several fonts and a colour palette was selected. Then visual elements were created, in the form of stamps. These, along with all the essential information, were displayed on the front of the wedding invite design. Including the RSVP, which was styled as a ticket stub.
Next, I moved onto the invite sleeve. A unique pattern, made from the olive branch logo was printed on the interior. Finally the sleeve was sealed with a personalised with a wax seal.
The website is a continuation of the already established branding. However the main aim of the website is to inform and provide a place to RSVP so had to be easy to navigate. With this in mind, a single page, parallax design was chosen. This allows for all the content to be displayed on one page. Plus, due to the menu links, it is easy to navigate the page and jump to a desired information.
Clean white sections of information are divided by scenic photos of the venue, with graphic elements scattered throughout. This layout provides a clean minimal design that befits the venues whilst keeping to the branding and ensuring the information is clear and easy to find.
